HASS

Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS)

Through a historical and contemporary focus, from personal to global contexts, the study of History, Geography, Civics & Citizenship and Economics & Business, students learn to analyse data, evaluate different perspectives, understand their rights and responsibilities, and develop the financial literacy they need to participate as active and informed citizens in our complex society. This learning is driven by relevant and engaging study, field trips out bush, collaboration with community and extra-curricular opportunities.

Students develop skills to think critically and creatively, communicate their ideas accurately and effectively, and demonstrate the cultural awareness, curiosity and care that are central to our school’s vision and values.
